PURPOSE: To reduce man-hours for processing of a scroll for a scroll type compressor by performing bending of lap and inserting into the assembly jig in a single process.
CONSTITUTION: The assembly jig 1 is arranged between push rings 9, 13, where a knockout pin 10 is fitted in a groove slidably. A mirror plate 7 provided with a groove is installed at the upper part of this assembly jig 1, and this is pressed by the upper ram 8 and heaves the lower ram 11 to allow a lap 3 to come in the groove 14 in the mirror plate 7 with the aid of said knockout pin 10. After insertion in a certain designed dimension, the upper ram 8 rises up and the lower ram 11 rises further, and the scroll is removed from the assembly jig 1 for completion of the process. According to this arrangement, bending of the lap 3 and insertion into the assembly jig 1 can be made in a single process, which will well ensure reduction of man-hours for processing a scroll.
