PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for a scroll fluid machine wherein precision of part of which a pump part consists is increased, leakage of gas through the slide parts of the end plate surface of a fixed scroll and a turning scroll is suppressed, and performance of the scroll fluid machine is improved.
CONSTITUTION: In a fixed scroll 1, super finishing grinding is applied on the end plate 1c of the fixed scroll 1 on which contact slide of the end plate 2b surface of a turning scroll 2 is exerted. In the turning scroll 2, after a grinding work is applied on the back face of the end plate 2b, precise machining is executed on the thickness of the end plate surface and flatness of the end plate surface by means of an end mill by referring to the back face. A grinding work is applied on a frame 3 in relation to its end face 3c, with which the fixed scroll 1 is brought into contact, and its pedestal surface 3b. Further, treatment of a phosphate formation film 2g is applied on the turning scroll 2, and those parts are assembled together to improve mutual adhesive property sliding of the two end plates over each other.
