CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing an austenitic stainless steel tube by skew rolling process, at the time of elongating rolling with the inclined roll type elongator 4 after Mannesmann piercing 3, a bar is elongating rolled by setting the inclination angle of the main rolls 4-1 at ≥6°, elongation ratio at ≤1.7 and adjusting the temp. of rolled stock at a temp. that the internal temp. of a rolled stock 1-1 after rolling with the elongator 4 is ≥50% in the reduction of area when a test piece is broken in a high-temp. tensile test.
