Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method that can provide a secondary battery case material wherein thermally sealed parts at its ends are hardly peeled off.
SOLUTION: A piece of metal foil 10 having an insulating layer 13 formed on its surface is prepared. An adhesive film 11 is formed on the insulating layer 13 by applying thereto organosol containing acid-modified polyolefin as a solid constituent and drying it. Next, a polyolefin-based film 12 containing at least an acid-modified polyolefin film of a kind similar to the acid-modified polyolefin in the organosol is prepared. Then, the metal foil 10 is stuck to the polyolefin-based film 12 by crimping the acid-modified polyolefin film of the polyolefin-based film 12 to the adhesive film 11. This secondary battery armoring material is thus provided. The insulating layer 13 can otherwise be formed by applying an insulating varnish containing a heat-resistant polymer having a glass transition point at least above 200°C and a coupling agent to a metal foil body 14 and drying it.
