MANUFACTURE OF SHAFT SHAPE PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and inexpensively work a complicated shape by setting different periods between the period working a groove part in the form rolling process obtaining a correct shape making the axial line the center and the period working a small diameter part to reduce the diameter.
SOLUTION: A wedge type of die shape part 25'a is formed in the drawing part 25' corresponding to the groove part and a wedge type of die shape part 28'a is formed in the part 28' corresponding to a small diameter, respectively. First, the groove part of the drawing part 25' is worked at 1/2 stroke with a flat die and thereafter the shape is maintained. On the other hand, diameter reducing for forming the small diameter part is started in the part 28' corresponding to the small diameter after finishing diameter reducing in the drawing part 25'. By this way, since the schematic shape of shaft shape parts is formed in the forging process and the correct shape is obtained in the form rolling process, even complicated shape parts are easily worked, the working period is reduced, and the rapid formation having excellent efficiency is allowed as well.
