Title:
MANUFACTURE OF SHEET-LIKE SUPERCONDUCTIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01275006
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contrive to improve the critical current density of superconductive body by a method wherein superconductive particles, the shape of each which is flat, are formed in a sheet under the state being orientated and further the resultant sheet is densified.

CONSTITUTION: After stock powder for ceramic superconductive body is fired and ground, a part of the resultant grinds is turned to slurry by being dispersed in solution. The slurry is filtered so as to place a precipitate on a porous sheet. A slurry formed by mixing the remaining grinds and binder solution is added from above the precipitate so as to be dried in the form of a sheet and, after that, fired. As the porous sheet net made of filterable metal, resin fibers or the like, woven fabric, non-woven fabric, microporous film or the like is used. By the dispersion, the natural precipitation and the following suction filtration of the grinds, superconductive particles, the shape of each of which is flat, are orientated along the surface of the porous sheet. By using the remaining grinds pulverized to the particles, the particle diameter of each of which is 1/5 times or less as much as that of each of the grinds dispersed in the solution, the resultant grinds enter in the gaps of the sheet made of the filtered off precipitate, resulting in allowing to densify the resultant sheet.
