Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a good appearance of a product having no wrinkles and the like, wherein an injection-molded product is made in one piece with a foil decorating pattern film by melting and adhesion at the same time as injection molding, by using a base sheet in which a UV absorbing material is included in a base material of an acrylic resin for the foil decorating pattern film at a specific temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A foil decorating pattern film 1 using a base sheet made of an acrylic resin is introduced into a space between molds A, B and, in a softened state under heating from a heat source, is made to adhere closely to a recess 21 of the mold by operation of a vacuum suction means 9. Molten resin 23 is injected into a cavity defined by clamping the molds A, B, and, thus, a foil-decorated product, in which an injection-molded product is provided with the foil decorating pattern film 1 integrally therewith, is formed. In this case, a base sheet is used, wherein the base material of the acrylic resin for the foil decorating pattern film 1 includes a UV light absorbing material such as a benzophenone-type UV light absorber, which does not escape from the base material of the acrylic resin even when a heating temperature is increased at the time of making the foil decorating pattern film 1 adhere closely to the recess 21 and at the time of injecting the molten resin 23.
