PURPOSE: To improve the abrasionproofness of a slidable surface in comparison with the conventional by coating the slidable surface of the slidable member such as rotary shaft with the polyamide resin containing graphite particles in 20W50% by weight and then baking said resin.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a shaft 1 is spray-coating-treated by the polyamide-imide resin 3 containing graphite particles 2 in 20W50% by weight in dispersed state and diluted by solvent. Said rotary shaft 1 is set into a drying furnace and baking-treated through the heating at 230W260°C for 1hr or so. The rotary shaft 1 thus formed is formed from the graphite particles 2 having the superior abrasionproofness for a long period under a low load and the polyamide-imide resin 3 having the superior heat resistance and abrasionproofness in comparison with epoxy resin, etc. and the superior close adhesion performance with graphite particles, and the abrasionproofness of the slidable surface can be improved in comparison with the conventional.
