Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a device with high output by a method wherein photoelectric converting active layers are formed on the approximate whole surface of a conductive substrate, electrodes, which are mutually separated, are laminated, and only electrodes showing fixed photoelectric characteristics are connected to a common conductor. CONSTITUTION:An N<+> layer 2, an i layer 3 and a P<+> layer 4 are successively deposited on a stainless steel plate 1 with amorphous Si. Comblike electrodes 5 consisting of two layers of Ti and Ag and a common comblike electrode 6 are made up. The distances of the electrodes 5, 6 are formed in dimensions which can sufficiently separate section among each photoelectric converting unit 7 by the lateral direction resistance of the layers 2-4. The characteristics of each unit 7 are inspected, and only acceptable units are connected in parallel by conductive paints 8, etc. Thus, reactive currents are removed when light is injected, and high output is obtained between the lead conductor 6 and the substrate 1.
