Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the electrical insulation of the solid electrolytic capacitor sure by a method wherein a resist layer is formed near an anode lead for a porous molded body on which the anode lead and an oxide film are formed, a conductive high-molecular compound layer is formed on the resist layer and the oxide film and the resist layer which is formed on the anode layer and the conductive high-molecular compound layer are removed simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: An oxide film is formed on the surface of a valve-action metal sintered body 1 and along an anode lead 1A, the anode lead 1A is coated with a resist, the resist is dried, and a resist layer 3 is formed. Then, conductive high-molecular compound layers 4, 4A as solid electrolytes are formed on the surface of the oxide film in such a way that they creep deep into the inner part of its slender hole. Then, the resist layer 3 which has been formed on the anode lead 1A and the conductive high-molecular compound layer 4A are formed simultaneously, and the electrical insulation of the anode lead 1A from the conductive high-molecular compound layer 1A from the it is possible to surely ensure the electrical insulation of a cathode layer from an external anode lead terminal at the welded point of the anode lead to the external anode lead terminal.
