Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of a leakage current by means of an insulating masking material under a chemically polymerized film even when the chemically polymerized film is broken when an electricity-feeding pin comes into contact with the film by a method wherein one part of an oxide film layer is masked with the insulating masking material and, after that, an electrolytic polymerization operation is performed by erecting the electricity-feeding pin on the masking material.

CONSTITUTION: An oxide film layer 12 in a position in which an electricity-feeding pin is to be erected is covered with an insulating masking material 18. An epoxy resin or the like can be used as the masking material 18. A chemically formed plate 10 is immersed in a pyrrole solution; a conductive polypyrrole film 14 is formed by a chemical polymerization operation. Then, the conductive pin 16 is erected on the conductive polypyrrole film 14; this assembly is immersed in an electrolytic solution for electrolytic polymerization use. The polypyrrole film 14 which has been formed by the chemical polymerization operation is grown up to the recessed surface of the chemically formed plate 10 by means of an electrolytic polymerization operation. After that, terminals are bonded; counter-electrode leads are extracted, and an outer package is formed by using an epoxy resin or the like. Thereby, a solid electrolytic capacitor is completed.
