Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor in which a leakage current is reduced, by a method wherein a mixed solvent of water and alcohol or that of water and ketone is used as a chemical reconversion solution for chemical reconversion.
SOLUTION: A sintered compact 2 in which a tantalum lead wire 1 is buried and which is pressed and molded is anodized, a dielectric film 3 is formed, and a pellet is manufactured. Then, a chemical oxidation and polymerization operation is performed, and a conductive polymer polypyrrole layer 4 is formed on the dielectric film 3. After that, the concentration of phosphoric acid in a chemical reconversion solution 9 is adjusted, methanol in 30 to 50 vol.% is added, a voltage is applied to the pellet, and a chemical reconversion operation is performed. In addition, an acid such as adipic acid, boric acid, acetic acid or the like may be used instead of the phosphoric acid. In addition, as alcohol for the chemical reconversion solution, methanol is used, but any out of ethyl alcohol, butyl alcohol and ethylene glycol may be used.
