In a manufacturing method of a storage phosphor panel, an exclusive support is coated with a phosphor layer by depositing a phosphor precursor raw material containing a matrix constituent, an activator constituent and/or their combination from a crucible unit in a deposition apparatus. The manufacturing method has a process for adding the phosphor precursor raw material to the crucible unit (1), depositing a phosphor layer from the phosphor precursor raw material (2), and performing deposition in the crucible unit at high temperature while the temperature exceeds the melting temperature of the matrix raw material by 70°C or more. "The number of activator coating weight" in the phosphor layer reaches at least 7,000.
