PURPOSE: To facilitate the removal of foreign matters adhered on the surface of a stamping disc by a method wherein an adhesive layer with a bond strength, which is stronger to resinous substances than to metals, is formed on the surface of the stamping disc and then peeled off therefrom.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a stamping disc 6, onto which irregularities are formed in response to information such as picture, voice or the like is coated with polyester resin dissolved in a solvent such as isopropyl alcohol or 1,2- dichloroethane by a spin coating method at the spinning speed of 400rpm in order to form a first adhesive layer 13 with its thickness of 1μm. Next, a second adhesive layer 14 consisting of ultraviolet-curing resin is filled between the first adhesive layer 13 and a transparent resin backing plate 15, over which ultraviolet rays are made to irradiate under the pressure of 5kg/cm2 being applied thereon so as to cure the adhesive layer 14 in order to form a peel plate 16 with comparatively large area. At the next step, the peel plate 16 and the stamping disc 6 are physically peeled off each other.
