Title:
MANUFACTURE OF SUN VISOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02144223
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture a tough sun visor simply and cheaply by fixing a core material in abutting type mold while coating a synthetic resin foam particle compact with the core material buried therein by means of an overcoating material after filling up synthetic resin foam particles in the mold.

CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing a sun visor, first, a core material 2 is placed on a cylindrically projected magnet 4 established in a cavity mold and fixed into the mold in cooperation with projections 5. Next, after making a core mold to abut the cavity mold and being clamped thereon, an appointed material is filled up in these molds. Subsequently, the appointed material is heated and cooled and a foam particle compact 1 to be the main body of a sun visor is formed. The sun visor is formed by taking out the foam particle compact 1 from the molds and then converting the same with an overcoating material such as vinyl chloride sheet, etc., and applying welding process to respective parts thereof. Accordingly thereto, together with reduction is generated burr, fixing of the core material is made to be sure and a tough sun visor is simply and cheaply manufactured.
