PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method of superconducting acceleration cavity by which an acceleration cavity in clean and smooth inner face condition can be produced by a few and simple processes.
CONSTITUTION: A female-type cell form 8 to which a Nb-based superconductive material 1 is attached is put in a pressure vessel 9 and gunpowder 7 are explored. At that time, due to the explosive force 11 of the gunpowder 7, the superconductive material 1 is deformed corresponding to the shape of the cell form 8. The deformed superconductive material 1 is parted from the cell form 8 and thus a formed product 3 with the shape corresponding to the shape of the cell form is obtained. Moreover, the frange part 3a of the formed product 3 is cut and an opening is formed to give a half cell 4. Then, a plurality of half cells 4 are connected to each other to manufacture superconducting acceleration cavity.
