PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for super conductive material, by which a strand started with a small number of combining is efficiently drawn to the predetermined diameter, so as to form a Nb-Al superconductive wire excellent in a cross sectional area ratio of a Nb3Al superconductive phase and in superconductivity such as critical current density with good workability.
CONSTITUTION: Plural strands 1 are stored in a support tube 6 so as to be drawn, and then, the obtained drawn body is used for a strand in the next process, that is, plural these strands are stored inside a support, tube so as to be drawn. This operation is repeated required times while using a multilayer wire 1, which is provided with a superimposed layer of pair layers, each of which consists of an Al group layer and a Nb group layer, on the outside of a ductile metallic core, or a multilayer wire 4 constructed of a superimposed layer of pair layers individually consisting of Al group layers, each of which is provided with the same thickness, and Nb layers, in which thickness of the inmost layer is different from that of the outermost layer at least, as a strand at a start, and consequently, a multicore wire is provided. At the same time, a manufacturing method for a superconductive material includes a diameter shrinking process based on an extrusion system at least once in the all processes as the drawing process, and a Nb-Al superconductive wire is provided by heating the superconductive material.
