Abstract:
PURPOSE:To readily manufacture or set up a cylindrical diaphragm assembly whose folded part is fastened with a stop ring, by securely inserting a hydraulic shock absorber in the assembly. CONSTITUTION:One end of a rubber tube 2 used as a cylindrical diaphragm is folded and the folded part 5 is fastened with a stop ring 8. A hydraulic shock absorber 13 is inserted in a cylindrical diaphragm assembly 12 shaped in said manner. After the other end of the cylindrical diaphragm 2 is secured to the outer shell 18 of the hydraulic shock absorber 13, the folded part 5 is brought inside a cylindrical member 16 connected with a piston rod 14 of the hydraulic shock absorber 13, and then fixed to it with the stop ring 8. Thereby, an injury of the cylindrical diaphragm 2 is reduced and its production or assembing work is easily conducted.
