Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a thermally ductile coil having good acid washability by cooling coil after being wound thermal ductilely under a specific condition.
CONSTITUTION: A coil after being wound thermal ductilely is subjected to a heat retaining treatment or a gradual cooling treatment, whereby giving a more than 2.0 × 10-6T value. The condition used is as formula (I) where R is a gas contant of 1.987 cal/°Kmol, t is a winding temperature (CT + 273°K(CT is winding temperature °C), L is a heat retaining time or gradual cooling time in minute, and [Mn] is the amount of Mn solid solution in %. Subsequently, the thermal ductile coil is continuously cooled to less than 60°C at a cooling rate of more than 80°C/hr.
