Title:
MANUFACTURE OF THERMOPLASTIC RESIN MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3329059
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To minimize the deformation of even a molding of large size or complicated shape by clamping a die with a concurrent action to supply a specific percentage of molten resin of a total resin supply quantity, then temporarily shaping a cavity clearance less than the thickness of a finished product and moving the die so that the resin is of the same thickness as the finished product, while supplying the remaining resin.
CONSTITUTION: The supply of a molten resin 1 equivalent to 5 to 95wt.% of a total resin supply is initiated through a molten resin passage 4, between a male and a female die 3, 2 which are not closed. Next, the die is clamped continuously or discontinuously, and the resin is temporarily shaped at a position where the thickness of a cavity clearance is less than that of a finished product, at the same time as the supply of the resin is completed. Under this state, the remaining resin 1 is supplied through the molten resin passage 4. With a concurrent action to supply the resin, a female die 3 is opened so that the cavity clearance is of the same thickness as the finished product simultaneously as the completion of the supply of the resin. In addition, the supply of the whole resin should be made continuously. After that, the die is cooled and the molten resin is cooled and solidified.
