PURPOSE: To obtain a tie rod and a tie rope having excellent strength by cold working, by drawing a sleeve inserted into one side of rod steel or a rope, by a die.

CONSTITUTION: One side 1a of rod steel 1, etc. is made to interpenetrate a die 2, and thereafter, this one side 1a is inserted into one side 3a of a sleeve 3 whose diameter is a little larger than the die 2, and also one side 4a of a screw rod 4 is inserted into the other side 3b of the sleeve 3. Subsequently, the sleeve 3 is drawn by the die 2, and the rod steel 1 and the rod 4 are fixed to an inside circumferential face 3c of the sleeve 3. Or one side 13a of a rope 13, etc. is made to pass through a die 14, and thereafter, this one side 13a is inserted into a sleeve 15 whose diameter is a little larger than the die 14, also the sleeve 15 is drawn by the die 14, the rope 13, etc. are fixed to the sleeve 15, and a screw part is formed on the outside circumferential face of the sleeve 15.
