Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for easily producing a toothed belt having small-pitched teeth.
SOLUTION: The toothed belt, composed of tooth parts 2 which are installed plurally in the longitudinal direction and the surfaces of which are covered with a tooth cloth 1, a tension cord 3 buried on the back side of the tooth parts 2, and a canvas 5 buried in a back rubber layer 4 on the more back side than the tension cord 3, is manufactured. At this time, a material, the tooth part 2 side of which is coated with a rubber 6, is used as the canvas 5, and the tooth part 2 is formed out of the rubber 6 coated on the canvas 5. The rubber 6, formed by application to the canvas 5, can be easily formed with a thin layer thickness, so at the time of forming the tooth part 2 of the rubber 6, the small-pitched tooth part 2 can be easily formed without oozing of the rubber on the surface of the tooth cloth 1.
