Title:
MANUFACTURE OF TUBULAR PRINTING BLANKET WITHOUT GAP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3135883
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a high speed printer without overheating without slip of a printing surface by executing a predetermined amount of third elastomer substance tubularly on a second layer without seam, and forming a cylindrical continued printing surface on the print layer.
SOLUTION: A non stretchable layer 66 is obtained by sealingly embedding yarn 102 in elastomer substance having no extremely small sphere, and spirally winding the yarn 102 around first and second compressive layers 62, 64. A printing uncured rubber sheet having a thickness of 0.04 inch is wound on an outer surface of the layer 66 to form a print layer 68, a nylon tape is wound on the structure and cured. An adjacent end of the wound sheet is skived at a predetermined angle, ∼d final print layer 68 is elongated in an axial direction, and adhered to at the time of curing to eliminate its seam. Bodies 74, 90, 100 of the substance are adhered at the time of curing. The layers 62 to 68 can be distinguished according to different components, but are not separated from each other.
