Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a two-room air bag efficiently and at a low cost by using fewer parts and processes, by eliminating the necessity to install a ventilation panel as a separate component element, as well as to provide a two-room air bag for side collision shock which generates a faster inflation of the lower room and a delayed inflation of the upper room by controlling the inflation of the upper room by the ventilation panel.
SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a two-room air bag for side surface shock having a two-room air bag and an integral ventilation panel 58, partial ventilation panels are formed of the parts of the air bag pieces 12, and two partial panels are butted when the air bag pieces 12 are assembled to form an air bag 10. The two panels are sewn each other, and thereby, an integral ventilation panel 58 to divide the upper room 60 and the lower room 62 of the air bag is formed.
