PURPOSE: To facilitate positioning of a stationary electrode, a movable electrode at the time of assembling a vacuum capacitor and to prevent deformation of a component after a connection by brazing.
CONSTITUTION: A hole 1 is formed substantially at a center of a stationary conductor 13 in a vacuum vessel 10, and a cavity 2 is formed substantially at a center of a movable conductor 18. Centers of the hole 1, the cavity coincide with central axes of a cylindrical stationary electrode 1 and a movable electrode 16, and (inner diameter of the hole) ≥ (inner diameter of the cavity) is satisfied. In the case of positioning, a ceramic rod or a ceramic-coating rod (supporting rod) 3 is inserted into the hole 1 and the cavity 2, both the conductors 13, 18 are temporarily fixed, and a component is brazed in this state. After brazing, the rod 3 is removed. Thus, since a material of the rod 3 has excellent hardness, corrosion resistance and high softening point, it is not deformed even in the case of brazing at a high temperature, and removal after a connection is facilitated.
