PURPOSE: To contrive to integrally mold a sealing member or a part of a valve body, which has high dimensional accuracy, and consequently to enhance the performance of a miniature solenoid valve by a method wherein an annular bead is formed in advance round the sealing member holding hole of the valve body and the annular bead is deformed under pressure at the time of integral molding of the sealing member in a mold.

CONSTITUTION: A valve body 1 is molded in advance out of resin material and equipped with a guiding part 2 and an annular bead 3. At a next process, a sealing member 4 is integrally molded by being filled in the valve body. The length L of the guiding part of the valve body 1 is molded accurately so that the end 2a of the guide part is pressed by a movable iron core when the valve body is assembled in a solenoid valve. By bringing the annular bead 3 into close contact with the inner surface of a mold through the press deformation of the annular bead in conformity with the depth D of the recess of the mold, the pouring domain of the sealing member is limited to a hatched part 4, resulting in forming the sealing member having an exact thickness D. Accordingly, the length between the end 2a of the valve body and the lower end of the sealing member is formed exactly. As a result, the short stroke of the movable iron core of a miniature solenoid valve is effectively utilized and a high speed solenoid valve, which actuates stably, is obtained.
