PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a vibration isolator in which the thickness of a rubber layer for forming a laminated rubber can be made uniform.
CONSTITUTION: This method for manufacturing a vibration isolator comprises the steps of pouring a fluidized rubber poured from an inlet 27 to a vacant chamber 11b in gaps (g) between a plurality of reinforcing plates 4 disposed in molds 11 and 12 via channel holes 25 disposed above the gaps (g), solidifying the fluidized rubber poured in the gaps (g) and then bonding and integrating the rubber layer to the plates 4, wherein the channel length of the holes 25 is gradually reduced from the vicinity of the inlet 27 separately. Thus, the longer the position separated from the inlet 27 is, the larger the quantity of the rubber fed to the gap (g) from the holes 25 per unit time becomes.
