Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a wear resisting plate for a loading bed of a truck with less weight as compared with conventional ones and moreover free from generation of collosion or warps.
SOLUTION: On one side of an aluminum plate stock 10 a thermal spraying coating film is formed by thermal spraying of metal. A rolling mill 12 is applied which is composed of a first work roll 14 with an annular groove 13 formed on a roll circumferential surface over the whole circumference and further a second work roll 16 which is equipped on the roll surface over the whole circumference with an annular projecting part 15 fitting to an opening part of the annular groove 13 of the first work roll 14. The annular groove 13 of the first work roll 14 and the annular projecting part 15 of the second work roll 16 form an aperture 17 shaped coincident with a plate 1 for the loading bed of the truck to be manufactured. The plate stock 10 is made to pass through the aperture 17 formed by both the work rolls 14, 16 of the rolling mill 12 so that the thermal spraying coating film surface faces to the side of the first work roll 14, and then hot rolling is executed.
