Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an inexpensive wedge body excellent in installing accuracy by manufacturing plural primary workpieces whose cross section is a fan shape, loading these in a forging mechane by arranging them in an annular shape by opposing mutual side surfaces to each other, and actuating the forging machine.
SOLUTION: A disk is cut from a metallic round bar by machine work by a milling machine and a sawing machine, and by cold forging, a primary workpiece 3A whose cross section is a fan shape is molded by the disk on which bonderizing processing is performed. Plural primary workpieces manufactured in this way are loaded in a forging machine by arranging them in an annular shape by opposing mutual side surfaces 3Aa to each other, and these plural primary workpieces 3A are simultaneously forged and molded in a wedge shape by actuation of the forging machine. The forging machine has a drag die, an cope punch and a knockout pin, and the plural primary workpieces 3A loaded in the forging machine by surrounding a shaft part of the cope punch in an annular shape, are simultaneously molded as wedge bodies 3 by cold forging by a descent of the cope punch to the drag die. In this case, a marking carving a sign and a character or the like to show arrangement of the plural wedge bodies 3 is attached.
