To provide a method for manufacturing a wood material using sawdust and wood chips and obtain the wood material which is produced by properly mixing sawdust, water, wood chips, a flame retardant or the like depending upon use application, together with a moisture-setting urethane prepolymer as a binder and filling a molding frame with the mixture to set it at normal temperatures into a wood material mass and further, cutting the wood material mass to an arbitrarily selected shape using a lumbering machine or the like, and thus enable manufacturing of various wood materials using the sawdust and the wood chips without the necessity to use special installations.
Sawdust, water, wood chips 11, a flame retardant or the like are properly mixed depending upon use applications together with a moisture- setting urethane propolymer as a binder, and the mixture is packed into a molding frame to be cured at normal temperatures into a wood material mass 10. Further, the wood material mass is cut to an arbitrarily selected shape using a lumbering machine or the like to obtain the wood material 10. Thus it is possible to produce various kinds of the wood material 10.
