Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the generation of a clogging in a line, and upgrade the productivity and the operating efficiency and further, allow demonstration of an adhesive force effectively by discharging an isocyanate adhesive from each of discharge apertures together with high pressure gas simultaneously through another nozzle and adding the adhesive to woody fibers, when the isocyanate adhesive is added using a blow pipe line.
SOLUTION: An amino adhesive is added to fibrillated woody fibers from a first adhesive nozzle and an isocyanate adhesive is added to the fibers from a second adhesive nozzle 8 respectively, halfway through a blow pipe line 1 through which the woody fibers are made to flow with the help of steam pressure. When the isocyanate adhesive is discharged into the blow pipe 1 from the adhesive discharge aperture 9 of the nozzle 8 to and the adhesive to the woody fibers, high pressure gas is ejected into the pipe 1 simultaneously from gas discharge apertures 10, 10,... around the adhesive discharge aperture 9. Thus the isocyanate adhesive is prevented from coming into contact with moisture until the isocyanate adhesive is supplied into the blow pipe 1. Consequently, the clogging of the adhesive line is eliminated and the line no longer need be cleaned to contribute to increasing the productivity and the working efficiency and effectively allowing demonstration of the adhesive force.
