Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve bendability, by regulating the crystal of a zirconium sheet after final finishing to the prescribed grain size remarkably smaller than that of the conventional crystal.
CONSTITUTION: A zirconium slab is subjected, e.g. to hot rolling, soft annealing, cold rolling, and further annealing. Then, the grain size of thus-obtained sheet after final finishing is adjusted to ≤15μm. In this way, the zirconium sheet excellent in bending workability can be obtained.
