Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply manufacture a fastening sleeve having a fastening part formed at an end which can resist a large pull-out force by plastic working.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus 3 comprises a case 31 having a hollow part 312, a die 32 forced into the hollow part 312 to clamp a sleeve 10, a pressure cylinder 33 that presses the die 32 and the sleeve 10, and a spring 34 that energizes the die 32 and the sleeve 10 in the direction of extraction out of the case 32. The pressure cylinder 33 forces the sleeve 10 into the hollow part 312 of the case 31 by pressing one end of the sleeve 10 and forms a fastening part 121 by diametrally enlarging one end of the sleeve 10. After the fastening part 121 is formed, the die 32 and the sleeve 12 are released from the pressing force from the pressure cylinder 33 and is extracted out of the hollow part 312 of the case 31 upon receiving an energization force of the spring 34. At this time, a pair of dies 32 separate from each other to take the sleeve 12 out.
