To provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a piston for a brake, and the piston for the brake, capable of securing the contact area of a part coming in contact with a pressure plate, while enabling formation of a groove for a boot in a thinned member.
A manufacturing apparatus 1 of a piston for a brake comprises: rotary means 2 for rotating a cylindrical raw material 10 fitted to a cylinder of the brake in a circumferential direction; a first roller 3 for forming a groove 14 to which an annular boot installed between a piston fitted to the cylinder and an opening part of the cylinder is fit by pressing an opening part side annular end part 12 of the raw material 10 from the outer peripheral surface side of the raw material 10; and a second roller 4 for forming a thick part 12 pushed out to the axial side from an inner peripheral surface of an annular end part 11 by pressing the annular end part 11 for pressing the outer peripheral surface side by the first roller 3 from the axial direction side of the raw material.
