Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform modification of coal such that comminuted coal is effectively dehydrated before carbonization, fine grains of dehydrated coal are removed in the dehydration process, and coarse grains of dehydrated coal undergo carbonization treatment.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus of modified coal includes: a dehydration conveyor apparatus 105 in which comminuted coal is dehydrated while being fluidized from a lower side by warm air; a carbonization apparatus 108 in which coarse grain raw coal is heated to be carbonized; a cooling means 115 that cools the carbonized coal 75; tar coating means 109 in which tar is adsorbed to the carbonized coal 75 to obtain modified coal 79; and a bag filter 106 in which dust coal from the dehydration conveyor apparatus 105 is collected and fed as fuel for a boiler 121.
