Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which it is possible to manufacture an architectural external material with (1) a rugged touch of a natural material, (2) a feeling of depthwise profundity and (3) a decorative particle which does not come off easily, as a method to manufacture the outer architectural material consisting of a base material layer comprising cement and a fiber material as main constituents, a coloring layer containing pigment formed on the base material layer and a decorative particle which is dispersed and set on the coloring layer.
SOLUTION: An uncured colored cement layer 106 is placed and formed on a base material layer 104 by supplying colored cement slurry 200 containing pigment to the surface of an uncured base material layer 104 composed mainly of cement and a fiber material. Further a decorative particle 300 is spread over the uncured colored cement layer 106 placed and formed, and later, both colored cement layer 106 and base material layer 104 are molded by pressing so that at least, the decorative particle 300 is taken up by the colored cement layer 106. Finally the pressed molding is cured and set.
