Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of manufacturing steps without performing high- accuracy processing, by setting a cylindrical material as a substrate in a mold and casting aluminium or the like on the outside circumferential surface of the cylindrical material.
CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical material 7 of iron or the like is set in the cavity 3a, 3b of the metal mold 1, 2. The molten aluminium or the like is poured into the opening 4 around the cylindrical material 7 so that the aluminium or the like is cast on the outside circumferential surface of the cylindrical material 7. The material is then worked so that a cylinder for a vehicle is manufactured.
