PURPOSE: To manufacture a decorative laminate without building-up and drying processes, by forming a composition containing an unsaturated polyester resin to a sheet form, curing the sheet to B-stage by light-irradiation, and laminating with a patterned paper impregnated with an amino resin by hot-pressing.

CONSTITUTION: A composition containing an unsaturated polyester resin which is curable by photo-irradiation and/or by heating, is formed to a sheet. The sheet is cured to B-stage by irradiating with a mercury lamp, etc. A patterned paper impregnated with an amino resin such as melamin resin is placed to the semi-cured sheet, and hot pressed to obtain the objective decorative laminate.

EFFECT: Remarkably improved manufacturing efficiency: high dimensional accuracy of the produced decorative laminate.
