PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for an absorptive article which is capable of simply manufacturing an absorptive article of a desired shape with an elastic member.
SOLUTION: This manufacturing device for an absorptive article is equipped with an elastic member supply mechanism A which distributes plural elastic members 3 to a specified position on an absorptive article. The elastic member supply mechanism A has a feed roll and plural elastic member guide parts 22 provided on a shaft part 21, and further, consists of a rocking guide 20 which rocks toward the axial direction of the shaft part 21, a mother roll 10 having plural endless, curved guide grooves 11 with a varying curvature provided on the peripheral face of the feed roll and a web conveying part 30 which transfers webs 31, 32 into a clearance between a pair of nip rolls. The elastic member 3 are guided into the curved guide grooves 11 while rocking the elastic member 3 and are supplied to a specified position on the webs 31, 32, in accordance with the shape of the curved guide grooves 11, by rotation of the mother roll 10. Thus the elastic members 3 are held and fixed between the webs 31, 32 while the shape of the members 3 is maintained as it is.
