Abstract:
To provide a device for laminating liquid crystal cells and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal cell such that only good parts of upper and lower substrates can be selectively laminated in the lamination process of the liquid crystal cell and that high positioning accuracy for flat planes and cell gap accuracy can be securely obtained.
The device has such a mechanism that a tool to smoothly carry out processes from cutting to laminating is used to selectively laminate an upper substrate to a lower substrate in the position with good quality. A piezoelectric device is used for positioning the planes. Even when the work is tilted, the tilted state is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the fastening portion of the press part.
