To provide a manufacturing device of semi-solidified metal slurry of excellent linkage to a succeeding step capable of easily manufacturing and discharging the semi-solidified metal slurry of high quality in a short time.
A lower end of a sleeve 2 is closed by a stopper 3. Molten metal M is poured from an upper end side of the sleeve 2. The electromagnetic field of the intensity with which no initial solidified layer is formed is applied to the molten metal M in the sleeve 2 by a coil device 11 for applying the electromagnetic field of a stirring unit 1. Application of the electromagnetic field by the stirring unit 1 is completed by an electromagnetic field application adjustment unit 16 when crystal nuclei are generated in the molten metal M poured in the sleeve 2. The molten metal M in the sleeve 2 is turned into semi-solidified metal slurry. The lower end side of the sleeve 2 is opened by driving the stopper 3. The semi-solidified metal slurry in the sleeve 2 is dropped by the self weight.
