Abstract:
PURPOSE: To guarantee the pressure resistance and to improve the durability of a seal by quickly executing the exchange between a seal state and a non-seal state, to increase the deformation quantity of the annular seal in both states.
CONSTITUTION: In a manufacturing device for a metallic bellows tube wherein split dies 6a, 6b, 8a, 8b on a fixed side and on a moving side are pressed to the outside of an element tube 1, annular seals 16, 17 are pressed to the inside of the element tube 1 and pressurized fluid is sent to a forming compression space 15 divided by two annular seals 16, 17 on the fixed side and on the moving side to bulge out a part of the element tube 1, one of three faces forming engagement grooves of both annular seals 16, 17 is composed of members 10, 21 which can be freely moved respectively by hydraulic cylinders 11, 14.
