Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device and method for a seat for a vehicle capable of manufacturing the seat for the vehicle provided with a light-weight and highly-rigid bottom plate, for which the terminal processing of a facing material is suitably performed.
SOLUTION: The manufacturing device S of the seat for the vehicle provided with the bottom plate and covered with the face material with back ground cloth comprises: a vacuum recessed die 1 where the face material 11 is disposed; a pressing frame 2 lowered from the above of the vacuum recessed die 1 for pressing the terminal area 11a of the face material 11 disposed at the vacuum recessed die 1 with the opening peripheral edge part 1a of the vacuum recessed die 1; a pressurizing means 4 for performing pressurization after disposing a cushion material and the bottom plate on the face material at the vacuum recessed die 1; a heating means 5 for heating at least a part on the back surface side of the bottom plate until it is melted; a face material folding means 6 for folding the terminal area of the face material into the back surface side of the bottom plate 13 so as to bring the back ground fabric of the face material 11 into contact with the melted part of the bottom plate 13; and a press fixing means for press-fixing the back surface side of the bottom plate 13 and the terminal area of the face material.
