Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which forms a desired printing image to the outer surface (surface to be printed) of a long adhesive tape including an adhesive agent layer with high accuracy by ink jet printing in a roll-to-roll transportation system.SOLUTION: An adhesive tape printing apparatus 100 is configured so that a roll-to-roll transportation part 40 transports an adhesive tape 1 wound back from a winding body 10 to a specified direction so that the printing speed at an ink jet printing part 60 becomes 10 to 60 m/min. Furthermore, provided as transportation rollers 41, 43, 44, 46 facing to an adhesive agent layer are transportation rollers each of which realizes that adhesive force of the transported adhesive tape adhesive agent layer 4 based on 180° peeling test against the roll adhesive agent layer contacting surface becomes equal to or less than 1 N/10 mm.
