To allow the side parts of an unvulcanized rubber sheet joined with overlap with each other or the like and sufficiently homogenize the entire annular air pouch as a finished product.
This hollow annular air pouch is encased in the tire and filled with the air as an inner pressure, and behaves to deform by dilation following the lowering of the tire inner pressure, thus taking the role to support a load taking over the tire. The air pouch is manufactured by joining both end parts of the unvulcanized rubber sheet 1 into a barrel-like member 3, which is, in turn, joined together endlessly and vulcanized under inflation pressure. In this manufacturing, the tensile rigidity of the overlap joined part 4 of the side parts of the unvulcanized rubber sheet 1, is allowed to gradually lower toward the each of side edges of the overlap area of the unvulcanized rubber sheet.
