Abstract:

To manufacture an aluminum alloy sheet, which is high in product yield, good in moldability for rectangular draw-and-ironing (DI) molding, and superior in weldability using pulse laser.

When manufacturing a cold-rolled sheet of an aluminum alloy containing 0.10-0.60 wt.% of Si, 0.20-0.60 wt.% of Fe, 0.10-0.70 wt.% of Cu, 0.60-1.50 wt.% of Mn, 0.20-1.20 wt.% of Mg, more than 0.12 to less than 0.20 wt.% of Zr, 0.05-0.25 wt.% of Ti, 0.0010-0.02 wt.% of B, at needed, 0.35 wt.% or less of Cr, and balance Al with inevitable impurities; a homogenizing treatment is performed at the temperature range of 500-600°C for one hour or longer, and a final cold rolling is performed with a rolling ratio of 25-55%.
