Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of an aluminum alloy sheet for planographic printing plate which can produce an aluminum alloy sheet for planographic printing plate with a homogeneous surface composition and a support for planographic printing plate which does not cause surface problems.

In the manufacturing method of an aluminum alloy sheet for planographic printing plate through a continuous casting process, a molten aluminum alloy is fed via a molten metal feeding nozzle into an aperture between a pair of cooling rollers and rolled by the pair of cooling rollers while the molten aluminum alloy is solidified. In a vessel for supplying the molten aluminum alloy into the molten metal feeding nozzle, magnitude of vertical fluctuation of liquid surface level of the molten aluminum alloy inside the vessel is controlled within 10 mm.
