Abstract:

To easily manufacture an aluminum cable steel reinforced having increased capacity and composed by restraining increase of slackness due to temperature rise of a wire by providing a surplus length to an aluminum wire.

Before the aluminum wires are twined in wire twisting parts 2, a steel wire 7 is heated with a heater 11; the aluminum wires are twined around the heated steel wire 7 in the wire twisting parts 2; and the surplus length is provided to the aluminum wires by constriction when the steel wire 7 returns to ordinary temperature. By providing the surplus length to the aluminum wires with respect to the steel wire 7, temperature extension due to the temperature of the wire is reduced and increase of slackness thereof is restrained. Only by applying simple modification to a normal wire manufacturing device, the steel-core aluminum twisted wire formed by providing the surplus length to the aluminum wires can be manufactured.
