Abstract:
An aluminum ingot is subjected to hot rolling, cold rolling and then intermediate annealing to obtain a rolled article. Tensile strain is applied to the rolled article without subjecting the rolled article to cold rolling after the intermediate annealing but before initiation of final annealing, and thereafter the rolled article is subjected final annealing.
