Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an aluminum porous body having wide surface area.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an aluminum porous body has the steps for: manufacturing an aluminum alloy casting body of a solidification structure having an α-Al phase 1 and a second phase continuously formed in complex with the α-Al phase as a precursor by casting solidification of an aluminum alloy; manufacturing the aluminum porous body having a plurality of gaps 2 communicating from a surface to inside by bringing the precursor into contact with an elution solution which dissolves the second phase to elute the second phase of the solidification structure in the precursor; and conducting a heat treatment after the step for manufacturing the precursor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
